BOOBS!!!

Just a quick post...Never in my life have I been this in touch with my breasts. I feel like I stare at them all day, touch them all day, put cream on them all day....and they grow every day. So me and my breasts....BFF's!!

Mallory Jo Selby

Okay-Had the whole story typed and ready to go...and it didn't save...considering it took me days to find the time to finish that-I was a little sad. So I will just post pictures for now and hopefully find the time soon to start another.

Dilated to a 2 and Mick and I's secret code! lol!
Hanging in there...things are getting a little more difficult
Getting ready to push and couldn't be happier...only because I couldn't feel a thing nor do I remember this picture. I basically had no clue here! LOL!
Dilated to a 10!!! Let's do this!
Okay after pushing forever...no luck! No I'm ready for C-section and had to love on the hubby before going in!
Mallory Jo Selby has arrived and she's perfect!!! The best moment in my life!!
Big and long! Healthy baby girl!
Perfection!
So drugged up and have no idea what's happening but do know that my baby arrived and is beautiful!
Mallory says...well that wasn't too bad now was it mom?
My long feet and toes...they match mommies!
My coach! Dana did wonderful and was so grateful she could be there! She sacrificed alot and was amazing to have her in there and to cut the cord.
First time holding my baby...was shaking so bad and was so doped up but I remember the feeling...will never forget it!
The proud daddy...have never in my life seen Mick this way. Truly incredible!
Pushing his daughter into the room. Look at that smile!
Now what? Wife is still in recovery and I have to care for this newborn.
Aunt Dana holding me for first time! I think I'm going to be spoiled!!
Snuggle time!
First time holding after recovery...looking not too shabby considering my condition. But you can still tell I really have no clue yet...

My angel baby...truly amazing!

Who thinks I'm cute?
Already wrapped around his finger.
Getting ready to go home!
In my new carseat and ready to meet my puppies!

The best stocking stuffer you could ask for!
Merry Christmas to all!

Mallory's Photo Shoot

I know its sideways-but this is the only image we have of Little Miss Mallory as she has been very uncooperative when its comes to getting her picture taken. This was my last sono and we finally got a picture. Not a great picture but at least you can see her face...she has her arm up almost as though she was still trying to hide. We have not had a picture since July! Stubborn girl...but I think she will have her moms chubby nose and cheeks...which daddy thinks is just fine!

Just A Few Things That Makes Me Smile When I Think of Christmas

Missed You Guys!

Sorry for the absence everyone but we have been BUSY!!
We have gotten so much accomplished which is great because I was really doubting things would be done in time for little one. Low and behold...the husband and crew pulled it off! The upstairs I would say is 90% finished. We have just little things to do which I think will mostly wait until after baby. But we have it all painted (just need some touch ups), carpet laid, moved in, clothes hung, bathroom and office almost completed which may get done this weekend. It is so nice to have things organized and living like normal humans instead of nomads. It sure makes for one happy momma! I told Mick that I actually enjoy stepping foot into the house now. Of course there is so much still to do this old house but in time...it will be perfect. We have the Christmas tree (if you recall...its the massive 10 ft. tree!!) That was quite the sight as I couldn't help Mick as much this year since I couldn't be on the ladder but we got it done and it looks beautiful. We are literally just waiting for baby. Her room looks fabulous and I think that its just as I had imagined. We still have some wall hangings and small decor to get and place but otherwise its complete...minus baby. Mick can not believe how many clothes she already has...I think it really disturbs him that she has more clothes than he does or probably ever has had! Again, I can not express enough how great Mick has been through all of this...he really is going to be a great dad. Speaking of...I kept telling Mick that I needed a push present ever since we got pregnant. First of all, I had to explain what this was to him....he just laughed at me and said that was for Hollywood! Well, surprise surprise....he got me the best push present/Christmas gift ever!!! A NEW CAMERA! I am not talking Walmart brand here either...its a professional camera and I couldn't be more excited. Just in time for baby....as you all know I LOVE LOVE LOVE taking pictures and my iphone was just not cutting it for me. We had professional pictures taken at Mick's Christmas work party and I had a better camera than she did....talk about special. When Mick told me-I about flipped my lid. I wasn't really serious about the push present but at least he listened and did extremely well...so I won't complain. So you will be seeing LOTS of photos on here soon! I have to laugh that I got a push present before even pushing. I said the only thing I've pushed was probably his buttons! LOL!
Speaking of buttons...my new nephew Lane Matthew is cute as a button! He was born November 14th and is adorable. So is his big brother Grant. Grant does so well with him and its so cute to watch and imagine the two of them in a few years. Its going to be wonderful watching them grow up together and bond. You also forget how small little babies are...have to admit that I was quite nervous visiting in the hospital and learning all these new things about newborns from Dana. Reality is starting to hit me....and so are contractions! LOL!
They aren't anything consistent are too painful yet but they are happening. I am officially dilated to the big ol 1!! But boy oh boy am I ready to have this little girl. She's making me very anxious as I just want her home before Christmas but of course, just like everything else in this pregnancy, it probably will not happen that way. Just as long as she stays healthy...what a joy Christmas will be with a newborn! We have our bags packed and ready to for the go ahead from Little Miss...
Hopefully, I can get a few more posts in before she arrives and of course share some photos with the new camera!!!

Go Cardinals Go!

It's that time of year again...NFL and the Arizona Cardinals. (who pulled out a win yesterday despite some horrible refs!!) I love Sunday football....it makes me want to make chili and grilled cheese sandwiches every Sunday! So let's hope our Cardinals have a great season!!

ALWAYS REMEMBER

I will never forget September 11th...what I was doing, how I felt, the reaction of people around me, the blue of the sky, the silence...I remembered with a heavy heart yesterday but going to the most beautiful church service. I don't think there was a dry eye in the place. It was a lovely service and pretty sure God was speaking to all of us. I thought and prayed for all of those that not only lost their lives but also those lives that were effected by all that occurred that day. I prayed for the children, the service men and women, the first responders...the list goes on and on. But I also must say...I was HIGHLY disappointed in all of those who did not bother to fly their flags at half mast. It really bothered me and can not fathom why/how this could happen. Every one claims they remember, they prayed, etc...but I saw only a handful of flags flown at half mast from my drive from outside of Quincy to Jacksonville. DISRESPECTFUL! I understand it was on a Sunday and some businesses were not open but it would not have hurt to go ahead and lower that flag on Friday before you left for the weekend. Not impressed with the lack of respect...BUT I will give props to those I did see...Passavant Hospital, Home Depot, McDonalds, Burger King and a resident on North Main. Hopefully the rest of America was not the same....
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

Just Hangin' Out...

This pretty much sums up how I've felt the last week or so!
