Finding Jesus

Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this more and more...now that I'm starting to figure this site out. LOL! Well, today I have been thinking alot about Jesus and church. I have finally found my church home and family at Centenary United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. I have to admit that I have never felt this connected to the Lord in all of my life. And I'm so excited. This past weeks Ash Wednesday service and again this morning's service has really touched me. I have to admit that I've never really been "moved" in church until I started going here. Its just the place for me....

On other note....We are getting ready to leave on our trip to Colorado. We will be headed out Friday night after work...which will be interesting as we will be driving approximately 14 hours STRAIGHT through. Mick feels like this is always the answer for whatever reason. We did the same when we drove back from Boston. Hopefully beings that I'm a night person, that I will be able to do most of the driving. But boy oh boy will the next day take a toll on me!!! I always enjoy driving long distances, since I tend to be somewhat of a control freak, I don't necessarily enjoy when Mick drives! LOL! We will be going out to the Boulder, CO area to visit good friends Aaron and Barb. Sounds like they have quite the agenda planned for us so I will have to fill you on with not only post but also pictures when we get back. So let the road trip begin....

I also started Weight Watchers (compliments of Miss Oprah Winfrey!!). I have to admit that I think I'm doing fairly well with it. My pants are fitting better anyways! I have also started exercising again and it feels GREAT! I'm hoping that I do well on my first weigh-in which is on Wednesday. Mom is also doing Weight Watchers and she did great her first week with 8lb. loss!! WAY TO GO MOMMA!
