So....January 2019....can take a hike. At first it was fun. At first, I loved it. But I'm good now winter. Whomever invited ice princess Elsa to 62650 can take her back to Arendelle like yesterday.
Had enough. No more cold, no more ice, no more snow.
14" of SNOW....we made the CBS National News....
Thanks Winter Storm Mia (I think that was her name? Not sure I could forget)
This was when it was still fun....
Morgan's first time in the snow!
Big sis helping her out....good thing there was a path or we would have lost her
Down she goes....
And just like that....Morgan was over it too!
I don't blame her...
But Mallory on the other hand...couldn't get enough.
#momfail7839103474593450....no snow pants or snow gloves that fit her...so 5 pairs of pants later and mom's gloves...she didn't care..
This may or may not have been taken while I was laying on back after wiping out in the driveway...I couldn't get up or feel my back....but no 9-1-1 call so I call it a successful fall.
She could barely walk
Our massive snowman that has a bigger belly than base....and really small eyes!
Snow drift that almost reaches the roof of our shed
Mallory climbed to the top....
Mallory hanging from the roof of the shed...what!?!?
The bottom pic was right at 13 inches of snow....the second was what it looks like when over 14" drifts! It's a mess folks...complete mess.
If I have to hear one more text, phone call, email and facebook message from our Superintendent this year, I may go stick my head in the snow.
**NOTE: I feel like the superintendent has done a TREMENDOUS job making decisions and communicating**
UPDATE: Shortly after...it started to melt off and we got ice. Also, not a fan.
Current forecast:
Not including wind chill.....YUCK!!
