Give It All You've Got Tonight...

Give It All You've Got Tonight....
And that he did my friends. Mick and I...okay....I have been waiting a LONG time to go see my most favorite singer GEORGE STRAIT! The countdown has been since September. I could not wait...and it was all that I wanted it to be & more....except maybe better seats! LOL! Our seats still weren't bad though considering. The pictures don't do it justice as it looks like we were further away than we really were. He is such a charmer. I loved every second! He played and sang and played and sang....he sang till about 11:30. I bet he sang over 50 songs...my favorites of course.
Vince Gill opened for him and he was also great but THE KING of COUNTRY was definetly worth the wait.
He would just sing, smile and wink....oh be still my heart!
The message I got a few days prior....Awwwwww!
Yes, that is a George Strait shirt straight from oh....1990's????? And I wore to work last week. That is PURE LOVE!
This is prior to concert...Mick was really excited!!! lol!
Our choice for pre-show dinner. And yes, I had the Swordfish Casino and it was DELICIOUS! Along with firecracker shrimp.
This here drink....let me tell you....it was DISGUSTING! It looked like heaven but it tasted like hand soap! YUCK!

 WE MADE IT!!!!!

Couldn't zoom but that is him in all his glory! You can't tell from the pictures but we really could see him...lol!
Great artist! Great songs! Great show!

These pictures were taken from a friend of mine Gwen from Blessings On State Bed & Breakfast in Jacksonville. (which you should all visit...its gorgeous!)

 Pitter, patter, pitter, patter....oh George...
 Amarillo By Morning....
The cutest smile EVER!....can you tell I have a slight crush on him?!?!
He sang, "I'm not sayin' I'm through by any means. Cause there's still things that I want to say and do.
I hope you won't forget me, cause we've shared a lot dreams.
And just know that I'll always remember you."
He made it a point to thank all of his fans. He said that after his last show he will always remember the fans, the screams, the fans singing....I may or may not have shed a tear or two....;)
That night will be something I Always Remember....
Thanks George!
