And so it begins....the ribbons, the bows, the tap shoes, ballet, tumbling mats and so much I don't know....or am used to. I didn't do dance, or tumbling, or cheer-leading....just wasn't in my cards...oh I tried dance and tumbling but only in a studio above an old grocery store...nothing big time...and even that I didn't have a passion for or continue beyond a few years. Mallory on the other hand...LOVES it, despite being so shy. I see small bits and pieces of this extracurricular activity bringing out the child we see at home....the wild and crazy, dancing and tumbling all the time girl...so if anything comes out of this...I hope it's just that....that Mallory will gain confidence in herself and learn to be part of a "team" and listen to a "coach". Mick says he wants for her to learn how to fall down gracefully...lol! Think she may have a bit of her mother's clumsiness in her?
So for now....we enjoy watching her and we shall see if the "shoe fits"
Mallory in front of the infamous "Stevens"sign
Mallory & Rylan...posing! These two
are something. During the first tap session...Rylan came up to Mallory
and gave her a hug and Mallory just rested her head on Rylan's...so
sweet!
And there she is.....Dance like no one is watching!
I was spying on her....and got busted! ;)
Beautiful....not going to lie....had a few tears!
