Mallory Turns 12!

Mallory Jo has had a wonderful year. There have been MANY changes since her 11th birthday and I haven't always done the best to update via Facebook so going to try to blog about it. I share the kiddos moments as I LOVE seeing moments pop up on my timehop. I like looking back and reflecting on those memories and pictures that sometimes get forgotten.
The picture below---did not flow out in order (which stinks) but also not going to spend the time to fix them. It's Christmas week and it's crazy right now!

-Started out the year with my parents buying a home in Concord. (just outside of Jacksonville). Next door to my sisters house. It was fun painting and getting things ready for them. We have had so much fun being able to spend even more time with my parents and them able to attend more of the kiddos events. So grateful for the time with parents and the memories they make with the girls.

-Celebrated wedding from Wisconsin to Florida. Cousin Blake Hance got married in Wisconsin, drove back to Illinois, picked up kiddos and headed straight to Florida. Spent time in Destin, then St. Augustine with Mick's family and then down to Orlanda area for another cousin wedding

-Mallory got contacts. She realized quickly that if she wanted to play sports, she should attempt contacts. She was ready. It took her a little bit in the office but once she got it-she got it!

-Mallory spent her last spring soccer season with her "original" team. She has made such good friends with these girls and the girls parents have become some of my best friends. It's so bittersweet. So many memories with these families and so sad we won't play with some of them again. But forever grateful that our paths crossed and became so close.

-Mallory graduates 5th grade. Cue the tears. North has been SO good to Mallory! She loved every single year! The teachers truly made an impact on her! She has nothing but WONDERFUL memories of her grade school years! She was so sad to leave yet so excited to move on to Jr. High. Forever grateful to all the teachers and staff at North who made her experience AMAZING!

-Spent the summer at every sports camp available. lol! Soccer & volleyball. Soccer & volleyball. Soccer & volleyball.

-Cousin Selby got married in Florida. Sweet Selby found her love and had a beautiful wedding. It rained....hard but they always say rain on your wedding day is good luck. The girls were so lucky to be able to be flower girls for her and enjoyed spending the day getting ready with all the girls. Selby made them feel so special and will be a great memory for them. They also got to take their first airplane ride.

A true ying and yang friendship that just works.
