Simply Selby: Mal Turns 7!!!

Mallory Jo turns 7!! December 20th!!! She had a special day in Springfield the week before. We take her to Springfield each year and she gets to pick what we do and eat. It is typically the same thing every year. The MALL....at Christmas time!!!! So we did the carousel, the train, saw Santa, Build a Bear, Justice and Claire's. She chose to eat at Olive Garden this year for some spaghetti and the ipad that they have on the table. She enjoyed a tumbling party at Llaina's Dance in Jacksonville. They were simply wonderful! Mallory loves to tumble and flip around the house and usually likes shaking that booty. She gets so excited and worked up and then once the "time comes" she holes up and just kind of observes. She had a whole list of things she was going to show her friends and family that she could do and things she wanted to do with her friends. And she basically only chased Morgan around. I asked her why and she said because there were too many people there...lol! Regardless, it was a great party with little work for mom to do. On her actual birthday, she had to go to school but it was a special day of movie and popcorn so I think she felt extra special. She got to wear pj's to school ...matching pj's with her friend Jentry. Jentry was kind enough to give her pj's for her birthday gift so they could be twinkies at school. She was SOO excited. She then got to ride home with Jentry and later mom joined up for some ice cream. She unfortunately had dance class so the rest of her birthday was spent at Steven's. ;) She is quite the character that's for sure! Hope this year is just as fabulous as last. Thanks to all who helped celebrate our sweet girl.
