Love Is All Around You

I have not always been a huge fan of Valentine's Day. Yes, its cute. Yes, its nice. I like to hear that I am loved. I like the feeling of a day of "love" I suppose but I firmly believe there is much more meaning telling and showing people that you love them everyday...not just because a "day" tells you too. I don't like forced things I suppose. So why not tell people you love them on any given day besides Valentine's Day. Now that I have a kid...my love for Valentine's Day is growing a bit. I like to see her get excited for her "party" at school. I like to teach her new things. I like to see her give instead of receive. This Valentine's Day is a little sweeter. I explained to her that she will get to have a party at school and the first thing she said was "Candy". The girl sure has a sweet tooth. I told her that I loved her and she said Me? and I said Yes of course you Mallory. Then we had to say how much we loved our daddy. ;)
My Aunt Julia has been making Mallory some awfully cute things and she loves them! This is her latest masterpiece. She made Mallory a shirt and a matching outfit for Molly. Too cute!
Giving Molly some love while daddy photo bombs!

Mallory's virtual Valentine's Day greeting to friends and family.

This was after I was explaining to her what would happen at her Valentine's party. Think she likes candy much?

Mallory's valentines that she made her friends at daycare.
Happy Valentines' Day to my main SQUEEZE.
The heart pizza I picked up to eat. Mallory thought it was pretty neat but wanted the Canadian bacon to be hearts to and mommy had circles. ;)
This was a HUGE surprise. I have been telling Mick for awhile now that I wanted a leaf blower to blow the pin needles and leaves off the patio. I was putting Mallory to bed and this was what was waiting for me. I was beyond surprised. Way way better than flowers! And homemade cards are always the best!
Nothing to do with Valentine's Day but thought it was cute. She says 'Cheese!!"
This is our Pooh Poo photo. Get it? She is ready Pooh while trying to poo....I know I should have been a comedian.
Have a good weekend!
