Sometimes I Thank God For Unanswered Prayers...

Mick and I had a nice weekend getaway....We started out with the ever great Cass Christmas Party. It is a nice event that we enjoy every year. Thanks Cass....
We then got a late start to our day on Sunday....to Garth Brooks!!!
We did a little Christmas shopping and then antique shopping on the way down. It was a nice way to spend time with Mick. We both enjoy doing this and although we missed Mallory and she was quite often the topic of conversation.....it was nice not to have to worry about a two year old not being entertained or breaking something.

We met up with our friends John and Lindsay...who are ALWAYS a good time. This was our free trolley from Ballpark Village to the concert. We joined in on an impromptu singing of Friends In Low Places...which was hysterically out of tune...

Pre-concert meal at Ballpark Village....Delish!!

And there we are....we weren't super close but not bad....first level off the floor. I haven't been to many concerts but I can tell you it's going to take A LOT, A LOT, A LOT...to top this one! It was phenomenal.

I sang every word to every song....and danced the entire time! I LOVED it!!!

During The Dance....the cell phones were out, the swaying began...I think every person in that building was singing....which led to one of my favorite moments of the concert....There was an older couple sitting in front of us...older as in 70's.....the wife was so excited and was standing almost the entire concert...she needed a few breaks but she was having a great time. The husband sat some of it but when The Dance came on...he popped up out of his seat like he was 20 years old, grabbed his bride by the waist and sang and danced to this song like nobody was watching....nobody probably was but me....it was the cutest thing I have seen in a long time....it brought me to tears.

Yes....we heart you to Garth!

He was so fun....he was crazy...running around every where. I know that just my version of singing and dancing left me hoarse the next morning so I have no idea how this guy does but I'm sure glad he does!

He came out in his Blues jersey and Trish got her Cardinal jersey....he made it so fun!!

INFAMOUS!!! I could go to this concert every weekend...over and over and never get tired of it. I had a blast! Class act he is.....
Check that off my bucket list.....Thanks honey for going with me.....
